FTX’s New CEO John Ray Made $690,000 in 2 Months
John Ray, the new CEO of crypto exchange FTX, made $690K from November 11 to December 31, according to the documents for the bankruptcy court of the platform.
Based on an hourly rate of $1,300, he averaged 75 hours per workweek on this job.
His responsibilities include participating in FTX’s bankruptcy process in an attempt to recover funds for payments to customers and creditors.
He has many years of experience in business restructuring. He has previously worked with Enron and Nortel, among other companies.
He has earlier admitted that he has never seen such a complete failure of corporate control and an absolute lack of reliable financial information as in the case of FTX.
