Russia May Ask Crypto Exchanges to Verify Users’ Identity Through Passports
Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma Committee on the financial market of Russia, advocates the gradual legalization of the cryptocurrency market in Russia.
He also believes the state should control all movements of funds in digital assets. In addition, it is necessary at the legislative level to prohibit the use of bitcoin and other virtual currencies as a means of payment.
The deputy has just reiterated the need to establish control over the digital currency market.
In parallel, he has proposed to introduce passport identification of users of crypto exchanges.
