Helium Will Migrate to Solana’s Blockchain on March 27
The developers of Helium have said that the project will migrate to Solana’s network on March 27.
According to them, the transition period is expected to take 24 hours. A working group of community representatives will oversee the migration process.
Recall that the members of the network voted for the decision to switch to using Solana instead of the native blockchain of the first level in September last year.
According to them, the migration will help Helium scale, reduce the cost of transactions and gain access to on-chain oracles. Switching to Solana will allow the team and community to focus on dApps, network expansion, protocols and utilities.
