DeFi Project Synthetix Launches 3rd Version of its Protocol

The team of developers of DeFi project Synthetix have launched the third version of the protocol on the Ethereum mainnet and layer 2 network Optimism.

The v3 protocol was audited by Open Zeppelin, Iosiro and Macro.

Synthetix is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that allows users to raise liquidity and create derivatives markets based on ERC-20 tokens.

The third iteration of the protocol has a more efficient architecture that empowers dApps developers. It is assumed that Synthetix v3 will become the basis for further expansion of the functionality of the platform.

The developers have already prepared integration with Chainlink’s cross-chain solution for cross-chain transactions with stablecoins and have successfully completed several transfers via testnets.
