Ark Invest Spends $7M to Buy Shares of Jack Dorsey’s Block

Ark Invest funds have acquired 92,165 shares of Jack Dorsey’s Block for a reported $6.4 million, with ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) buying the most (77,991 shares).

ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) and Ark Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) have added 13,170 and 1,004 shares respectively.

The CEO of Twitter has recently unveiled a “set of developers for bitcoin mining” with the intention to create an open source system for mining cryptocurrencies that is efficient and environmentally friendly.

Last February, ARK Invest purchased Coinbase shares valued at about $9.3 million and around $6.7 million. In early March, the company put $3.44 million and $9.97 million into the stocks of the US crypto exchange and Robinhood online broker, respectively. The funds also added $20 million worth of Coinbase shares to their portfolios.
