Indonesia Might Use NFTs to Protect Country’s Cultural Heritage

The use of blockchain technology for preserving records and tokenized assets is becoming increasingly popular.

The Meta History Museum, for example, recently tokenized data from the war in Ukraine in May 2022, while Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has partnered with Quantum Temple to use NFTs to preserve the country’s cultural heritage.

This is especially important in light of the rise of AI and deep fakes, as NFTs provide a secure, tamper-proof record that can verify ownership and demonstrate that specific events took place.

This can help ensure that cultural heritage is maintained and valued without limits.
