Sui Network Will Launch its Mainnet Next Month

The launch of the main network of the first-level blockchain Sui Network is scheduled for May 3.

Despite Mysten Labs, the startup developing the protocol, denying the possibility of free distribution of tokens, users are still hoping for an airdrop.

In November, the Meta alumni project team released the first Wave 1 testnet. Then, in March 2023, they launched the “permanent” testnet Sui Network, which will remain active after the protocol is launched.

As per the plans of the Sui Foundation, more than 50% of the planned tokens will be allocated for the project’s development once the mainnet is launched. KuCoin, OKX and Bybit have all announced their plans to list the coin.
