Paxful Co-founder Artur Shaback: Paxful is Back Up and Running

P2P platform Paxful is now back up and running under the direction of Delaware lawyer Artur Shaback, who is also the co-founder.

The platform was forced to close in April after internal disputes between Shaback and former CEO Ray Youssef, who had accused his former partner of being greedy.

Youssef has not yet responded to requests for comment.

The company’s closure was due to the US legal climate, which has seen enforcement actions against exchanges and lawsuits from oversight agencies.

However, Paxful’s Wallet remained operational throughout the suspension and users were offered other peer-to-peer platforms to continue trading on.

The company stated that user safety and security were their top priority in getting the marketplace back online.
