ApeCoin DAO Releases Executive Salaries

Daniel G has taken to Twitter to express his dismay at the DAO Apecoin’s management salaries of $104,000 per month for the “special council” members, plus $7,000 for Vulcan himself as a secretary, and then $24,000 for the three forum administrators, and $27,000 for organizers and managers.

He has called the amounts “insane” and said they were “burning money for nothing,” since nothing had been proposed by the leadership in 2023.

Subsequent social media user, Michel, argued that the money could be justified if it was “done properly” with the “right people.”

Yat Sui, a board member, replied to the discussion by noting that the salaries mirror “responsibility and role” in the team, and may be higher for similar jobs in other sectors due to the risk involved in the crypto industry.

Earlier in May, DAO BitDAO had moved their official forum over to the Mantle Network platform as part of their merger.
