Binance.US’ Market Share Falls to 2.7%
Binance.US has seen a sharp decline in its market share in the US, dropping to the lowest level in two years with only 2.7% of exchange volume, based on Kaiko’s crypto data.
The Block data shows this decrease to have been consistent over the past three months, beginning at $17.6 million in March, and then falling to $15.2 billion in April, and $5.9 billion in May.
Additionally, its market share has also gone down when compared with other USD-supported exchanges, starting at 16.1% in April, going to 8.5% in May, and now around 5.4%, although data for June is still partial.
This downturn might be amplified by the SEC recently bringing legal action against Binance and its associates.
