Polkadot Joins Cosmos’ Environment
The Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol has enabled the Polkadot ecosystem to integrate with the Cosmos blockchain space.
According to the statement, more than 50 IBC-enabled blockchains have “merged” with networks on the Polkadot platform.
The goal of the Cosmos team is to create an “Internet of blockchains” (interchain), which allows participants to interact in a decentralized manner.
The Interchain Foundation commented on this achievement, stating that it is an important step in advancing IBC adoption and allowing non-Cosmos native ecosystems to join the interchain.
In addition, Polkadot is developing technologies, such as its parachain system, designed to increase blockchain interoperability.
In March, the Injective project launched a solution that allows Solana application developers to deploy them in the Cosmos ecosystem.
