The Number of New Bitcoin Addresses Reaches Highest Level in a Year
The number of unique Bitcoin addresses has reached a high for the year.
The seven-day moving average for new addresses exceeded 500,000 for the first time this year, its peak of 501,440 being the highest since May 2021.
This high has been supported by the considerable increase in the price of Bitcoin, having surged by 43% in 2021.
Despite a slight decline of 0.3% to $30,212 on Monday, as reported by CoinGecko, the world’s largest crypto currency by market capitalization remains relatively strong.
