US State of Wyoming Wants to Hire a Head for a Stablecoin Project

The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has announced a job opening for the Executive Director position, who will be in charge of overseeing the project, including compliance, accounting, and marketing.

The commission is headed by the board of the governor of the state, the auditor, and the head of the finance department, and they plan to issue stablecoins at a 1:1 ratio to the US dollar.

Funds from the initial issue will be stored in a trust account to cover the expenses for investing in treasury bills.

In September 2021, Wyoming-registered DAO The American CryptoFed filed to the SEC to register and trade the algorithmic stablecoin Ducat and its governing token, Locke.

Furthermore, the San Francisco Fed has posted a job opening for a “Senior Crypto Architect” who will be involved with the digital dollar project.
