Robinhood Adds Support for Bitcoin and Dogecoin to its Crypto Wallet
Robinhood has expanded its non-custodial Web3 wallet’s support networks to Bitcoin and Dogecoin, which was driven by its clients’ desire to have more assets on more blockchains.
Users are now able to receive, send, and transfer Ethereum and second-level networks – Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon.
Selected users are also able to exchange the second largest cryptocurrency by capitalization for more than 200 assets, and all users can use Ethereum and any token in their wallet to pay commissions.
Other customers will have access to the new functionality in the coming weeks.
According to the company, the wallet is already being used by hundreds of thousands of people in 140 countries.
Johann Kerbrat, CEO of Robinhood Crypto, has stated:
“With Robinhood Wallet, we have removed many of the complexities of DeFi and the broader Web3 ecosystem. The developers have also reduced some of the problems and barriers for everyday people.”
