Ledger Enters into Collaboration with Sotheby’s

Leading manufacturer of crypto hardware wallets Ledger has entered into an “exclusive” collaboration with the well-established auction house Sotheby’s.

The partnership aims to offer wallets to Sotheby’s top digital art and NFT collectors.

As part of the agreement, winners of Sotheby’s NFT auctions will receive a special edition Ledger x Sotheby’s Nano X wallet.

The collaboration also includes plans to expand the offering to include Ledger Stax in the future, as announced by Ledger on Tuesday. Ledger will cover the cost of the wallets for a limited period of one year, as confirmed by Ian Rogers, the Chief Experience Officer at Ledger.

Currently, the Ledger Nano X is priced at $149 and the Ledger Stax at $279, excluding taxes, according to the company’s website.

In addition to offering wallets, Ledger will also provide onboarding services to assist Sotheby’s clients in understanding the self-custody aspect of digital assets.

Educational content on web3 concepts will also be available through Ledger Academy, which will be published on Sotheby’s Metaverse platform for collectors to gain further insight.
