Coin Metrics Attracts $6.7M

According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday, cryptocurrency data firm Coin Metrics has raised approximately $6.7 million through a variety of securities, including equity and options.

The names of the investors have not been disclosed. Coin Metrics specializes in providing data on cryptocurrency markets, networks, and prices.

In a previous fundraising round, the firm received $35 million from a variety of investors including BNY Mellon, Goldman Sachs, and Cboe Global Market.

A representative from Coin Metrics confirmed that the company has a new investor, and the funds will be used to further enhance their services and provide accurate and reliable data and analytics for digital assets.
