Ark Invest to Launch New BTC ETFs in Association with 21Shares

Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, is preparing to introduce a new series of ETFs in collaboration with 21Shares.

The aim is to offer investors various options to incorporate digital assets into their portfolios for long-term capital appreciation.

The ETFs will be listed on the Chicago Board Options Exchange and will consist of five products, including strategic investments in Bitcoin and Ethereum futures contracts, as well as the implementation of blockchain technology.

While one product will invest in assets from companies involved in the blockchain industry, none of the funds will directly invest in digital assets or have exposure to spot Bitcoin. The funds serve as an alternative option for investors seeking direct exposure to the price of Bitcoin.

This release coincides with the anticipation of a decision on spot Bitcoin ETFs from companies like Fidelity, Grayscale, and BlackRock, which is causing a rise in the price of Bitcoin.
