Grayscale’s Chainlink Trust Premium Breaks a New Record
Grayscale Chainlink Trust (GLNK) has surpassed its NAV by an impressive 223.86%, setting a new record.
This significant difference may be attributed to the growing demand for the product from institutions.
Previously, the trust premium was typically around 20%, but this record-breaking variance suggests a surge in interest from institutional investors.
For these institutions, GLNK offers a regulated product to add to their investment portfolios. Another factor contributing to the large discrepancy is the trust’s small AUM of only $4.4 million.
This low amount may have amplified the impact of the increased demand on the trust’s price.
According to journalist Colin Wu, the trading volume of GLNK also reached a record high of 20,102 units, equivalent to approximately $886,700.
In the past month, Chainlink (LINK) has nearly doubled in value, including an 8.9% increase in the last 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
