Hashdex Believes Spot Bitcoin-ETF Trading Will Start in Q2 Next Year

Spot Bitcoin-ETF launch dates are uncertain, but there’s a strong likelihood they’ll commence in Q2 2024, as per Hashdex’s 2024 review.

Ethereum-based products are expected for investors thereafter. Recently, the SEC delayed Grayscale’s bid to convert a trust into a spot ETF.

On November 16, a similar decision was made for Hashdex and Grayscale’s digital gold ETF proposals, among 13 currently under SEC review. Notably, “Bitcoin” appeared in a record 1,074 SEC filings in November, a 32.6% surge from the previous peak in May 2023 (810).
