Jamie Dimon Says He Will Dismantle the Bitcoin if He Ever Works for US Government

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has reiterated his strong stance against Bitcoin, expressing that, if he were part of the US government, he would actively seek to dismantle the cryptocurrency as swiftly as possible.

Dimon, a consistent critic of digital currencies, had advised JPMorgan clients to steer clear of BTC in 2021. Recently, he forecasted the downfall of digital currencies amid a perceived economic crisis in the United States.

During a Senate Banking Committee hearing last Wednesday, Dimon affirmed his position and aligned with lawmakers who believe that cryptocurrencies are exploited by terrorists and hackers.

He underscored that, given the opportunity to influence the American government or serve in the White House, he would promptly dismantle the entire digital asset market.
