Zengo Wallet Challenges Hackers to Hack a Wallet with 10 BTC

The developers of the Zengo Wallet have issued a challenge to hackers by setting a task to breach a crypto wallet holding 10 BTC.

The contest will commence for a period of 15 days, beginning on January 9, with the disclosure of the targeted wallet address. Initially, the wallet will only contain 1 BTC.

On January 14, Zengo plans to add an additional 4 BTC (worth around $176,000) and reveal one of the “security factors” used to protect the wallet.

Later on January 21, the prize pool will increase by a further 5 BTC (valued at approximately $220,000) and the second “safety factor” will be revealed.

In total, the wallet has three levels of protection. The challenge will end on January 24.

The hacker who successfully breaches the address will be able to claim the funds for themselves. Zengo assures that their wallet is not vulnerable to seed attacks and does not store keystore files.
