Experts: Bitcoin Could Suffer a Correction After Halving
According to analysts from DecenTrader, Bitcoin is expected to experience a sell-off after its halving event, testing the resolve of investors.
The analysts predict that the cryptocurrency will reach its all-time-high in the fourth quarter, but this forecast does not consider external factors such as macroeconomic events and geopolitics.
The experts cited Bitcoin’s typical behavior during the year of a halving, where there is a surge in purchases before a sell-off occurs after the event.
This pattern is also expected to occur this year, as Bitcoin approaches its halving on April 18.
The experts stated that there is usually a correction phase in the market about 30 days before the halving, followed by a period of FOMO (fear of missing out) demand.
They emphasized that Bitcoin tends to outpace its response to halving announcements, making it important to track the market during this time.
