MicroStrategy Adds Another 3,000 Bitcoins to its Reserves
MicroStrategy, a developer of enterprise software, has acquired a total of 193,000 Bitcoins to date. In their most recent purchase, the company bought an additional 3,000 BTC at an average price of $51,813 per coin.
The company CEO and founder Michael Saylor has emphasized that the company has adopted a policy of holding onto their Bitcoin investments and has no plans to sell.
At $9.88 billion, MicroStrategy’s cryptocurrency holdings are significant, surpassing those of miners Marathon Digital (15,741 BTC) and electric car maker Tesla (9,720 BTC).
In the coming months, the company plans to increase their investments in BTC, in line with their savings policy.
