Binance Reportedly Considering Locations for its Headquarters

According to Binance CEO Richard Teng, the exchange is currently in talks with multiple jurisdictions to determine its headquarters, but no definite decision has been made yet.

During a fireside discussion at Paris Blockchain Week, Teng explained that choosing a headquarters involves careful considerations and is not as simple as selecting a country.

He stated that the exchange is considering various factors, such as the value provided by the jurisdiction for their suite of products and the existing regulations that cater to their needs. Teng also mentioned that taxation agreements play a significant role in the decision-making process.

This issue has been ongoing for years, with former CEO Changpeng Zhao dismissing the need for a headquarters, but later acknowledging its importance.
