Trust Wallet Warns About an iOS Vulnerability
A warning has been issued by the Trust Wallet team, which is owned by Binance, to iOS users regarding a zero-day exploit that targets the iMessage service.
According to experts, this vulnerability allows attackers to gain unauthorized access to iPhones without the use of malicious links. As a precaution, it is recommended to refrain from using iMessage until Apple releases a security update.
The Trust Wallet developers stated that they initially learned about this potential exploit through the darknet, where a hacker was asking for $2 million for information on the vulnerability.
The team stressed that this vulnerability has the potential to affect anyone, but those with high net worth are more likely to be targeted.
