Hong Kong’s Bitcoin ETFs Experience 2nd Daily Net Outflows
Hong Kong’s spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced their second consecutive day of net outflows on Thursday, May 11, following a period of initial inflows after their April 30 launch.
China Asset Management’s ETF saw the largest outflow, losing roughly 80.16 Bitcoin, while Bosera HashKey’s ETF shed 10 BTC. Harvest’s ETF remained flat.
This comes after a promising start with net inflows of 101.6 BTC and 99.99 BTC on Wednesday and Tuesday, respectively. The first outflows occurred on Monday, totaling 75.36 BTC.
Despite the recent outflows, the combined holdings of the three ETFs managed by ChinaAMC, Harvest, and Bosera/HashKey remain around 4,260 BTC, with net assets valued at $261.45 million (up from $247.7 million on launch day).
