Australia Approves VanEck’s Spot Bitcoin ETF

Asset management company VanEck plans to introduce Australia’s first spot Bitcoin ETF. In a recent blog post, VanEck announced that the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has approved its Bitcoin ETF for listing on June 20.

The company highlights that this will be Australia’s most affordable Bitcoin ETF.

Since 2021, VanEck has been pursuing a spot Bitcoin ETF in Australia and was the first to officially apply for such a product with the ASX.

After achieving success in the United States and with the advancement of Australian regulatory policies, VanEck resubmitted its Bitcoin ETF proposal in February.
