Coinbase Announces Pre-launch Markets Trading

Coinbase is introducing a feature on its global and advanced exchanges that will allow users to trade futures contracts on tokens that have not yet been released.

This will enable traders to engage in “pre-launch markets,” which involve determining the price of upcoming projects, all within the Coinbase platform.

Eligible traders will have the ability to buy long or short positions on an unreleased token with a leverage of up to 2x, offering the potential for significant returns.

These markets also allow users to invest in a token before its official launch, even if the launch date has not yet been announced.
