Survey: More Than 50% of Japanese Investors Plan to Invest in Crypto
According to a survey by financial services firm Nomura Holdings and its digital asset arm Laser Digital, more than half (54%) of institutional investors in Japan are considering investing in the crypto sector within the next three years.
This information was revealed on June 24, when the two companies released the findings of their “Institutional Investor Survey on Digital Asset Investment Trends.”
The survey involved 547 investment managers, including institutional investors, family offices, and public-service corporations, and aimed to determine their attitudes towards digital assets and identify any challenges they may face when considering investing in crypto.
Of the respondents, 54% indicated an interest in investing in crypto within the next three years, with the majority stating they “want to invest” or are “more likely to invest.” The remainder stated they were either “most likely not interested” or “not interested” in investing.
