Germany Moves $175 Million in BTC

According to data from Arkham, it appears that the German government has recently transferred another large sum of Bitcoin to various addresses, potentially indicating its intention to sell some of its assets. The total amount transferred was 3,000 BTC, valued at around $175 million.

Of this, 1,700 BTC were sent to an unidentified address starting with “139Po”, while 500 BTC went to Bitstamp, 400 BTC to Coinbase, and 400 BTC to Kraken.

This follows similar transactions in the past two weeks, with the government sending about $17.6 million worth of Bitcoin to exchange addresses on Tuesday.
