Coinbase Announces New Version of its Wallet App

Coinbase has joined efforts among wallet manufacturers to simplify access and improve user experience, especially for beginners, by introducing an app that enables users to manage all their on-chain wallets and activities in one place, the company announced on Thursday.

Through the app, users will be able to connect multiple wallets and perform various actions, such as buying, swapping, sending, staking, or minting coins, directly from their wallets.

Additionally, users of the app will be able to interact with one another. In a statement, Coinbase explained that many people currently use manual spreadsheets and have to open multiple browser tabs to keep track of their assets, but the app will provide a comprehensive view of all their assets in one place.

The app will be available on both desktop and mobile devices and will be compatible with smart wallets. Other wallet providers, such as Exodus, have previously launched similar products as the industry strives to make cryptocurrency investing more accessible to non-technical users.

This is particularly important for cold or decentralized wallets, which can be challenging to navigate.
