Galaxy Digital Purchases Almost All Assets of Blockchain Node Operator CryptoManufaktur

Galaxy Digital, a crypto company led by Michael Novogratz and publicly traded, has acquired the majority of assets from the blockchain node operator, CryptoManufaktur LLC. This acquisition will significantly increase the company’s capabilities in staking Ethereum.

The press release announcing the agreement with CryptoManufaktur, also known as CMF, was exclusively provided to CoinDesk. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to a spokesperson, Galaxy Digital will acquire the operations and engineering teams, along with their assets, which will result in a 43% increase in the company’s total serviced assets under stake.

Founder of CMF, Thorsten Behrens, will be joining Galaxy’s blockchain infrastructure team, which offers staking and validation services to qualified investors, protocols, and digital asset platforms, as stated in the press release.

Started in 2020, CMF originally focused on building infrastructure for the blockchain project Chainlink.
