Messari CEO Leaves Company

In the wake of a series of inflammatory tweets about politics, civil war, and immigration, Ryan Selkis announced on Friday that he was stepping down as CEO of Messari, the crypto data and research firm he helped co-found.

His departure comes after a string of controversial messages posted on X, the social media platform where he is known for launching insults and making controversial statements.

In light of the potential harm his remarks could cause to the company, Selkis stated that he has decided to step down as CEO.

Recently, his comments became more extreme following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, with Selkis posting on X that those who vote against Trump should “die in a f*cking fire” and saying to an immigrant that he hopes they will be sent back and not become a citizen.
