BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF Receives $526M

On Monday, Farside Investors reported that BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), an ETF trading on the Nasdaq and closely mirroring the price of Bitcoin, brought in a total of $526.7 million from investors.

This is the largest amount of funds raised in a single day since March, according to data from Coinglass. Since its launch on January 11, BlackRock has accumulated almost $19.5 billion from investors.

At the same time, the remaining 10 ETFs listed on US exchanges saw a decrease in investments, with only $6.9 million in net inflows on Monday. On the same day, the price of Bitcoin rose to over $68,000, its highest level in over a month.

This increase in price was linked to rumors that Donald Trump, a pro-crypto candidate, would announce plans for a more prominent role for BTC in the financial system at an upcoming conference in Nashville.
