One Trading Receives Dutch License to Offer Crypto Derivatives in EU

One Trading, a digital asset exchange based in the Netherlands, has recently obtained an Organized Trading Facility (OTF) license from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).

This license allows One Trading to operate as a regulated cryptocurrency derivatives exchange in Europe.

Formerly known as Bitpanda Pro, the company now known as One Trading has been granted a Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MIFID) II license, which is a set of regulations implemented by the European Union to govern trading venues.

With this license, One Trading becomes the sole perpetual futures trading venue in the European Union and the first platform in Europe offering cash-settled perpetuals.

In a statement, the AFM confirmed that One Trading has been granted an OTF license, making them the first crypto company in the Netherlands to receive this type of license.
