Morgan Stanley Will Allow Clients to Access Bitcoin ETFS
According to a report by CNBC, Morgan Stanley has informed its financial advisors that select clients will soon be able to access spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
This would make it the first major Wall Street bank to offer such an option.
The bank has decided to allow its advisors to offer clients the opportunity to purchase shares from two bitcoin ETFs, the iShares Bitcoin Trust by BlackRock and Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund by Fidelity, starting from August 7.
According to anonymous sources familiar with the bank’s internal decisions, Morgan Stanley made this move in response to increasing requests from its clients.
