Court Pospones Do Kwon’s Extradition Again

Do Kwon’s extradition from Montenegro has faced yet another delay. Montenegro’s appellate court had apparent final decision to extradite Kwon to South Korea, his country of origin.

However, at the request of Montenegro’s Minister of Justice Andrej Milović, the country’s Supreme Court has postponed the extradition once again, as reported by local media outlets.

Unexpectedly, Montenegro has become the center of a diplomatic struggle involving Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon.

Both the United States and South Korea are seeking to prosecute Kwon for civil and criminal charges related to the $40 billion collapse of the Terra/LUNA ecosystem in May 2022.
