USDT Issuer Tether Will Double its Workforce Next Year

According to Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, the stablecoin company is planning to increase its workforce to around 200 employees by mid-2025. Currently, Tether has a team of over 100 employees spread out in more than 50 countries.

Despite this lean team, Tether has managed to issue the largest stablecoin, USDT, with a market capitalization of $115.4 billion.

Ardoino explained that this efficient approach has allowed the company to focus on its core competencies and deliver exceptional value to customers.

However, with significant growth and a record profit of $5.2 billion in the first half of 2024, Tether has recognized the need for expansion.
