BlackRock ETFs’ Assets Exceed Grayscale’s
BlackRock’s Bitcoin and Ether ETFs have become the largest publicly traded crypto funds in terms of assets under management, surpassing Grayscale’s products for the first time.
According to on-chain holdings, BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, and Ether ETF, ETHA, have taken over Grayscale’s GBTC, BTC Mini, ETHE, and ETH Mini.
As of Friday, BlackRock’s ETF holdings totaled over $21.217 billion, while Grayscale’s amounted to $21.202 billion. Furthermore, flows data shows that GBTC recorded outflows of $25 million on Thursday, while BlackRock had no net inflows or outflows.
Grayscale’s ETHE recorded $42 million in net outflows, while BlackRock’s ETHA saw net inflows of $740,000. BlackRock’s IBIT became the largest Bitcoin ETF by assets under management in May, reaching over $20 billion in June.
