Bybit Wins a Provisional License from Dubai’s Regulator

Bybit has achieved a significant milestone in its global expansion as it received provisional approval for a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA).

This is an important step towards obtaining a full operating license in this promising crypto market. The announcement was made on September 16, following a thorough review process by VARA to ensure Bybit’s compliance with all necessary standards.

With this approval, the exchange is now closer to being fully operational in Dubai’s rapidly evolving cryptocurrency landscape.

Helen Liu, Chief Operating Officer of Bybit, shared her excitement about the company’s presence in Dubai, highlighting the city’s strategic location, progressive policies, and innovation-driven environment as key factors in their decision to expand there.

Liu also emphasized that Dubai’s strong regulatory framework and dedication to becoming a blockchain hub make it an ideal environment for the advancement of digital currencies.
