CleanSpark’s Hashrate Grows by Almost 200%
Crypto miner CleanSpark has reported a significant 187% increase in its hashrate over the last year, according to their unaudited fiscal year report released on October 4.
During this time, the company’s hashrate has gone from 9.6 EH/s in September of 2023 to 27.6 EH/s in September of 2024, with 5 EH/s added just within the past month. CEO Zach Bradford attributed this growth to strategic acquisitions, saying:
“The company successfully put its diversification plan into action by expanding its portfolio to three new states and completing multiple expansions at existing data centers.”
CleanSpark currently operates multiple data centers across the United States, and it has significantly increased its capacity over the past few years.
The company has acquired five turnkey mining facilities in Georgia and three more in Mississippi. Most recently, it announced the acquisition of seven facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, with a total capacity of 85 MW.
