Digital Assets Firm Tradias Wins a BaFin License

Tradias, the digital assets division of Bankhaus Scheich, a German bank licensed and regulated by the BaFin, has obtained a BaFin securities trading bank license.

The company has also completed a successful Series A funding round. Previously, Tradias had been utilizing Bankhaus Scheich’s BaFin license.

The company has now hinted at potential expansion plans with its newly obtained license.

Tradias CEO Michael Reinhard stated that the license will allow for accelerated growth and secure their position as a leading player in the regulated digital assets market.

According to the announcement, Tradias plans to use this new license and increased financial backing to expand into the European market in 2025, enhance their product offerings, and continue to innovate in the constantly evolving world of digital assets.
