Worldcoin Changes Name to World

Worldcoin, a company specializing in identity verification using blockchain technology, has undergone a rebranding and is now known as World.

Company founder Sam Altman announced the name change during a keynote speech on October 17th. In addition to the name change, World revealed several other updates.

This includes a new and improved version of its Orb biometric scanning devices, as well as new options for identity verification.

The company also announced partnerships with popular apps such as FaceTime, WhatsApp, and Zoom.

The rebranding was quickly reflected on the company’s social media accounts and the announcement was livestreamed on YouTube.
