Cyprus Regulator Extends FTX’s License Suspension for 6 Months

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has announced that it has extended the suspension of FTX (EU) Ltd’s CIF license until May 30, 2025.

This decision was made in order for the firm to comply with Cyprus’ investment laws.

According to CySEC’s notice, FTX (EU) Ltd is prohibited from engaging in investment activities and promoting its services until the suspension is lifted.

However, the firm is still allowed to complete transactions with its existing clients, provided they approve. Additionally, FTX (EU) Ltd is required to reimburse all funds and assets belonging to its clients.
