
BlackRock’s Spot Bitcoin ETF Attracts $1.1B
BlackRock’s Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) yesterday received over $1 billion in new investments, making it the largest asset manager in the world.
This was a record trading day for the ETF, surpassing its previous highest inflow of $113.3 million.
This surge in investments came as Bitcoin continued to reach new all-time highs, reaching $76,943 according to CoinMarketCap.
BlackRock’s ETF accounted for 82% of the total inflows received by the 11 US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs, which amounted to $1.34 billion.
The Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund followed with the second-highest inflows of $190.9 million, followed by the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) with $17.6 million.
