Binance.US Lists PEPE
Binance.US has recently added the popular memecoin Pepe to their list of available currencies, joining other United States cryptocurrency exchanges in the race for a slice of the lucrative memecoin market.
Starting on December 5 at 11:00 am UTC, PEPE can be traded against Tether’s USDt stablecoin on Binance.US, according to an announcement on December 4.
According to Binance.US, PEPE has gained a lot of traction from social media and community support since its launch, making it a popular choice among crypto enthusiasts. As of December 4, PEPE had a total market capitalization of almost $9 billion, as reported by CoinGecko.
With the recent win of United States President-elect Donald Trump in the November 5 election, many crypto exchanges, including Binance.US and Coinbase, are adding more memecoins to their listings.
According to Coinbase’s vice president of international policy, Tom Duff Gordon, under a crypto-friendly administration, they expect to offer more tokens that were not previously available.
