HashKey Receives Approval from Ireland’s Central Bank

The Central Bank of Ireland has granted “Virtual Asset Service Provider” registration approval to HashKey Group through its European unit. This allows HashKey Europe to offer cryptocurrency trading and custody services, according to the Asia-based crypto financial services firm.

The company sees this registration as a significant step in its global expansion strategy, joining its licenses in other major markets like Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and Bermuda.

HashKey Group also recently achieved another milestone by becoming one of the first crypto exchanges to receive a license in Hong Kong under the new regulatory framework.

In addition to its trading and custodial services, the company has also developed its own blockchain and launched the Ethereum Layer 2 HashKey Chain.
