Swiss State-Owned Bank Launches Crypto Staking Service

Swiss government-owned investment bank PostFinance AG is now offering Ethereum staking to its customers.

The bank has been slowly increasing its involvement in the cryptocurrency space, and it plans to continue expanding its services in the future.

According to the bank’s statements, the increasing acceptance of crypto in Switzerland and the recent bull market have motivated this decision.

The bank hopes to provide its customers with opportunities to generate passive income through staking their cryptocurrencies, starting with Ethereum. This decision was likely influenced by the significant growth of ETH staking in 2020, with a quarter of the total token supply being staked by February.
